Cramped for room and a little bit of extra bounce means the edge is found. Easily done by Kumara and he finishes with 4-58 which is a superb effort.
Windies managed to make 204 all out and after the start they had they will be very happy. Shane Dowrich and Jason Holder got them out of a big hole but now their bowlers will have to do some work. One positive is that the pitch is starting to misbehave with a bit of variable bounce, under lights that might only get worse. What will Sri Lanka make in reply?

The home side get a crucial 50 run lead after the first innings, and in low scoring games, that will come in very handy in the latter stages. See if they can build on that after a short break.

Cummins swipes across the line, trying to fetch it from outside off, and gets a big snick to first slip. It is magnificent work from Dhananjaya, using all of his height and leap to parry the ball up. He keeps his balance, and is able to cling on on the second go. Marvellous catch.

What a partnership this is turning out to be for the Windies. Cummins and Roach have played this very smartly. Attacked the balls that they think they can score from, and defended everything else. Simple, but effective. Sri Lanka will be worried as the lead continue to build.

Incredible from Sri Lanka. Conceding a fifty run lead after the first innings, which is a huge amount in a low scoring game, but they never gave in. Some classic Test Match batting from the two Perera's this afternoon, nudging and nurdling their way to the target. Grit, determination, and they fully deserved the win. Just a shame that the game couldn't last any longer! It was superb entertainment across the three and a bit days. Hard luck to the Windies, who played their part in a brilliant Test, but Sri Lanka level the series, 1-1.
