  • 78.3

OUT! Caught. Christopher Mpofu to Keshav Maharaj. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot pushing, outside edge to gully, by Burl. Zimbabwe have another, Maharaj is gone now as Burl takes a fantastic catch at gully. Maharaj pulled out of the shot and it went into the slip corden, Burl taking a beauty to dismiss the batsman. It feels like they've thrown their wickets away in order to allow some overs to be bowled at their opposition under the lights this evening. Maybe it is! They have declared their innings on 309-9, what a fightback from the Zimbabweans as they restrict South Africa to a score which is par at best. The bowling after tea has been outstanding and they have taken five wickets for just 58 runs. Now it's time to see whether they can carry this momentum through into their batting performance.

  • 78.2

FOUR! Christopher Mpofu to Keshav Maharaj. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, well timed in the air under control past deep backward point for 4 runs. Maharaj gets four as he cuts away the short ball from Mpofu up and over the man at point. It only just gets past the reach of his hand and goes for four.

  • 78.1

Christopher Mpofu to Keshav Maharaj. Short, outside off stump ducked, Left to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by Taylor.

  • 77.6

Graeme Cremer to Keshav Maharaj. Leg spinner length ball, outside off stump on the front foot pushing, to cover for 1 run, direct hit by Ervine, overthrow by Ervine.

  • 77.5

Graeme Cremer to Keshav Maharaj. Leg spinner length ball, middle stump on the front foot defending, to short extra cover for no runs, fielded by Burl.

  • 77.4

OUT! Run Out. Graeme Cremer to Kagiso Rabada. Leg spinner half volley, middle stump on the front foot pushing, to deep cover for 1 run, fielded by Moor, by Taylor. Would you believe it, Rabada has been run out on his first delivery! The ball beats him all ends up but an outside edge takes the ball past the infield and the batsman come back for a second. It was a poor decision as Moor picks up the ball well and gets it to the hands of Taylor who whips off the bails and leaves South Africa eight wickets down.

  • 77.3

OUT! L.B.W. Graeme Cremer to Quinton de Kock. Leg spinner half volley, off stump on the front foot sweeping, hit pad. Cremer has another! His second wicket in five deliveries and it's De Kock who he's trapped infront of the stumps LBW this time around. De Kock tried to sweep the ball away but could do nothing to stop the ball crashing into his pads, he look pretty plumb and the umpire raises his finger. Zimbabwe have another and the new ball is on the way in just a couple of overs. Drinks have been taken.

  • 77.2

Graeme Cremer to Quinton de Kock. Leg spinner length ball, to leg on the front foot flick, Play and Miss (Leg Side) to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by Taylor.

  • 76.3

FOUR! Christopher Mpofu to Andile Phehlukwayo. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past deep cover for 4 runs. Phehlukwayo plays a beautiful drive through the point region, that races away for four, to get off of the mark. South Africa could do with one more big innings from a batsman here to post an imposing first innings total. Zimbabwe have their tails up and are looking to clean them out as quick as possible.

  • 76.2

  • 75.5

OUT! L.B.W. Verified by umpire after REFERRAL. Graeme Cremer to Vernon Philander. Googly length ball, middle stump on the front foot defending, hit pad to point. Philander goes as the spinners get their first wicket of the day. It's a great time to strike for Zimbabwe with the new ball on the way. De Kock is clearly still struggling with the muscle in his leg and won't be batting to his full potential. Zimbabwe will be growing in confidence as they enter the tail end batsman here.

A sorry innings from Zimbabwe but a lot of very high quality bowling from South Africa, led by Morne Morkel with his seventh 5-wicket haul in Tests.

South Africa have enforced the follow on.

    Blessing Muzarabani b Keshav Maharaj 10 (9)

OUT! Bowled. Keshav Maharaj to Blessing Muzarabani. Stock ball half volley, off stump on the front foot Slog, missed. Fuller from Maharaj and this time he hits the stumps. That's his 5-for, very well deserved in this innings.

South Africa complete a very dominating performance, winning inside five sessions. Although Zimbabwe were never expected to win this match, they will consider this performance as disappointing and feel they should've scored more runs considering their good bowling performance on Day 1. The two five wicket hauls from Morne Morkel and Keshav Maharaj and eight catches in the match for the "better-than-average" stand-in wicket keeper AB de Villiers are the key performances in this game for the Proteas.
