Marvellous effort in the field by Australia. New Zealand kept going for the big shots, and kept losing wickets. The openers got them off to a decent start, but Taylor is the only reason they got up to 150 in the end. Still a good wicket, so Australia are favourites in the chase. They got to 243 with an over to spare on this pitch not long ago. Surely 151 should be a doddle?

The rain ends the game early, but Australia were going to cruise to victory either way. New Zealand struggled with the bat and were always a little light. They had to bowl extremely well to get back into the contest, but the Aussies were too dominant. Worthy winners of the Tri-Series. They won all five of their matches, and have now climbed to the top of the rankings in T20I!
