Avinash Sharma started his career in the media industry as a reporter at a news agency NBS Journal in Noida for a brief period of 10 months. He then joined a political web portal NitiCentral.com where he worked as a Sub Editor for a period of two years. At NitiCentral he worked with the news desk and covered political and sports stories. Avinash later joined Oneindia in 2014 as a Sub-Editor where he started with the news desk, doing political stories and breaking news. Due to his keen interest in sports, he switched full-time to the Sports Desk at Oneindia and that opened a whole new avenue for him. In 2017, Avinash started working hard with the team to make Oneindia's latest offering i.e. Mykhel.com a success.
